| On Thursday, Syracuse firefighters rescued one of a family of ducklings that fell into a storm drain outside of Carousel Center after following their mother across it.Emmanuel Vaucher, of Camden, a professional photographer, happened upon the scene and shared his photos and account of the rescue with The Post-Standard:Spring has arrived in the north hemisphere and the magic of life is giving birth to billions.
Days only after hatching, youngsters trust their parents into all kinds of adventures and dangers everywhere.

Submitted photo / Emmanuel VaucherRachel was far away from home that day but nothing (and I mean NOTHING) was now more important to her than bringing rescue to the duck family.
First of all she made sure to block half of the traffic lanes with her car so as to protect the duck and duckling that kept coming back around the drain to call out her ducklings down below.
Half an hour into placing phone calls while making sure the mother duck and her duckling were safe, Rachel's wishes finally came true: two firetrucks arrived on the site and plans were being proposed to rescue the ducklings. Plan A (scooping the ducklings with a net tied to the tip of a very long pole) was abandoned after a few attempts.
Plan B hoped to bring a rescuer closer to them thanks to a ladder ...

Since their mother had disappeared for a while, the five ducklings had already ventured into the sewer, and bread was used as bait to eventually make them come back. Unfortunately the others were nowhere to be found ...
As I attempted to imagine how the duckling and his mother were going to be reunited, I couldn't help thinking of this young woman who put her life on hold just to make sure to bring help to another one.
I shook her hand and drove back home, my heart lifted by the precious moment.

| السؤال في آخر المقال (( هل يحدث هذا في بلداننا ))
نعم يحدث دون الإتصال برجال الإطفاء لكي لا يقاسموهم لقمة العيش لأن عملية الإنقاذ ليس الرحمو بالبطة ولكن من أجل أن توضع في القدر للطبخ
***** ليس عام تكون إنقاذ فردي لأنهم عللا علم بأن سيارة الإطفاء لا تحضر لمثل هذه العملية *****
